[...] The private hell of anorexia laid bare in a heart-rending story of self-torment and survival." Kirkus Reviews

Description:

In this chaotic, desperate storm the brain tries hard to gather its fragmented parts, and anchor down the guy lines.

To weather out this hopelessness, this turmoil and this pain, -prevent disintegration until the calm returns and clear skies come again. In this chaotic, desperate storm the brain tries hard to gather its fragmented parts, and anchor down the guy lines.

"By telling her story, Brooks enlightens readers who suffer or suffered from the same condition she had; telling them that life offers so much more if only they will be strong enough to fight and never give in to their condition.
